The chosen loot system for this guild is a form of loot council. Full members are given priority on loot over recruits, meaning that if a full member and a recruit both desire an item, the full member will be given it over the recruit. This is simply to protect the guild from people coming in, taking loot, and then leaving. In our ten man runs, if a person needs a given drop, and it is an upgrade for them they are eligible to receive it.
The loot council consists of all officers of the guild, minus the GM. This is so he can remain impartial or break a tie if needed. The following criteria are looked at every time the loot council makes a decision.
1. Time of last upgrade
2. Time in the guild
3. Size of upgrade
4. Usefulness to class/spec
5. Raid attendance
6. Helpfulness to guild
The council simply goes down this list of criteria for all candidates and whoever has more in their favor wins the item. In the event of a tie, the GM can step in to break it.
If there are ever any questions as to why a certain person got an item, please feel free to ask an officer as we are more than willing to discuss it with you, but not during an encounter.
