Greetings Tempest and visitors! I figured it was time for an update as we've come a long way since we hit 10m Kingslayers. Since then we've destroyed 9/12 bosses in ICC10 Heroic, pushed many of our members to their Kingslayer titles, and continued to bolster our ranks with new members to continue pushing our progression content.

Things are moving along at a fast pace, and all I can ask is that everyone be understanding as we work out rotations and loot inside our raids. You're all doing awesome, and I"m proud to see Tempest come so far so quickly. Keep up the good work!

Well, I figure its about time for another news update on Tempest. We're doing quite well with Putracide down, and Blood Queen soon to follow. People are continuing to improve their gear, and everyone is having a good time. We've had our bumps and bruises, disagreements, and small outbursts, but really, what raid guild doesn't?

I'll take this news post to cover a topic that I think everyone should remember while playing this game. Despite what you may think sometimes, the person on the other end of vent or that chat box, is a human being, and like you, he makes mistakes. We all screw up, we all make poor choices, and sometimes we say the wrong thing and the wrong time. In situations like this, we all fall back on our most rudimentary instincts, and we go on the defensive. Whether its making excuses, getting angry, or just withdrawing inward, we all have a reaction. Just because this is a game, does not make this any less true.

So the next time someone pisses you off so much that you feel like tearing their head off, drinking their blood, and kicking them in the groin, take a step back. We're all here to have fun, but that doesn't mean we're not going to disagree from time to time. And if you absolutely have to hit someone in the groin... well.... thats why we keep Palegeus around right?

Alright Tempest, 4th of July is behind us, ICC has been nerfed again, and we've got a fresh raid lockout ahead of us, lets kick some ass. We've had our break, now its back to business. I hope everyone is prepared to hit ICC running as we push our 25m progression, and our kingslayer progression. Daranor's Ulduar runs are still going as well so be looking for those on the calender. The guild bank is open for business again after all the hacking incidents so grab what you need and lets get to raiding!

I'd like to hold a full guild meeting sometime in the near future as well so everyone please be on the lookout for the date and time of this meeting. We will discuss raid progression, where we are, where we're going, Ruby Sanctum, and any other topics that you all as members wish to discuss. So if you have anything you'd like to get off your chest, things you'd like to have the guild look at changing, or just things that you think are going well, bring them to this meeting.

Awesome week so far Tempest, we're now officially at 8/12 in our progression through ICC25. I want to thank everyone for your hard work, and determination that has brought us this far. Now we need to look towards the future and continue to push for progression content. I need all members, old and new, to be on their A-game when we step into raids. We're doing great, and progressing steadily through content that takes other guilds far longer. I have confidence that with focus, determination, and hard work we can be a top 25 guild. Continue the great work, thanks all!

Congratulations Tempest, we've made it through a full month and I don't know about you but I'm proud of it. Our progression has been steady, if slowed a bit by my absence for moving, but we've pushed forward and are continuing to make progress. I just wanted to take a moment of your time to talk to you all about focus, and raiding as we move into our second month of raiding.

I know we all like to have fun in raids, joke around, and give our input for problems that we see. I ask that you all remember that there is a time and a place for both of these things. There is a time and place to joke around, bullshit, talk smack, and have some fun with our raids, but during a boss encounter is not this time. There is also a time and a place to give feedback, state opinions on boss strategy, or on what went wrong, and while the raid lead is giving an explanation of what he or she saw wrong, is not it. Remember, time and place people, that's all I ask.

I will reference you all to our guild charter as this is exactly my thoughts on raiding, and how this guild should function. We are here to progress, and have fun doing it. This means focus on what you're doing. Concentrate on your singular performance as you can't control what others are going to do. Listen to instructions, pay attention to the boss encounter, and know what is coming up by doing your homework before hand.

We're doing great, just keep up the good work and I know Tempest will go far. Thank you all for a great first month of life in this guild!
